Are you an inclusive leader? Or is it 'my way or the high way'?

I share 8 traits of how you can become an inclusive leader without taking on another training program!

1.Confident

How confident are you as a leader? Do you lead with ease or do you find yourself doubting your capabilities?

2.Curious

How open are you to learning more about a team member's idea which could benefit the team?

3. Compassion

How empathetic are you towards your team members? Do you roll your eyes and say 'there he/she goes again!'

Or do you take the time to find out what's happening in their life?

4. Communication

Are you able to deliver key messages with clarity or do your team ask more questions as they are unsure about what you require?

5. Collaboration

How open are you to connecting with different teams to seek support or offer your help where required?

6. Cognizant

Are you aware of what unconscious biases are? Do you feel that you treat everyone the same no matter their religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, socio economic background etc?

7. Cultural intelligence

How open are you to learning more about other cultures and understanding why people may think or act in a certain way?

8. Celebrate

We're so used to focusing on what has gone wrong instead of focusing on what has gone right!

How often do you celebrate your team's achievements?

Do you give them a thumbs up or send them an email or a message on Teams/Slack?
